Historically, humans and animals coexisted under one roof in old farmhouses, living as part of a shared ecosystem. Today, reusing old buildings has become mainstream, but this project takes the idea further, transforming an existing structure into a collective—a true unity.

Instead of maintaining the traditional hierarchy between humans, animals, and workers, we reimagine the relationship. We asked: What happens when we remove these hierarchies and place everyone—human, horse, dog—under one roof as equals?

Taking inspiration from nature, we viewed the building as a tree and began creating a new “nest,” a unified structure housing all functions under a single, organic shell, much like a snail’s home. This concept embodies everything we believe in: embracing existing resources and creating something stronger and enduring.

By working with compression and dilation, the shell generates diverse spatial experiences, constantly shifting and evolving, much like what we find in nature but rarely in traditional architecture. This project is a testament to rethinking, reusing, and reinforcing connections—both between spaces and species.
