More-Than-Human Architecture Approach

Our studio works intensively to change how humans perceive and affect ecosystems, by proposing an architecture that serves all living beings.

We propose concrete design solutions focused on the questions of cohabitations, and strategies to transition human-centered spaces toward ecocentric models.

We look to Nature itself - and we work to raise awareness

and tell important stories.

Ecocentric Alternatives

By bridging societal needs with those of more-than-humans, we uncover tangible alternative ways of building and living that reconnect construction resources, food systems and circular economy models.

Our Knowledge

We are trained architects and urban designers, and our core expertise lays in :

Architecture   +   City Planning   +   Design

We have built extensive knowledge of more-than-human needs and design in urban and peri-urban spaces, for coastal and terrestrial biodiversity.

We continuously develop multidisciplinary approaches and collaborations to address the specific needs of each project.

We work across a range of scales, challenges and project stages:

Site Studies - Local Analysis
Design Strategy - Consulting
Project Design - Construction

We are building a dataset of terrestrial species needs for architectural and detail design.

Work in progress

We partner with marine biologists, plant specialists, researchers, and consult animal and insect experts.

We design shared habitats for people & species.

We work across scales :
from micro-life conditions
to ecological corridors.

We input more-than-human needs into
our architectural and planning expertise.

We develop both design solutions & mediation tools that help people understand and care for living systems.
